SEASON 2011/2012
Saturday & Sunday 21/22 January 2012
This weekend saw the 1st round of cup games being played. In the Primary League's Coulton Cup Competition our under 9s made it into the 2nd round by winning both their 7 aside matches at home, while our under 10s away game was postponed due to the pitch being unfit and will now be played next Saturday. The matches in the Youth League's Hogan Cup brought mixed results, after a good performance our under 11s were very unlucky to lose their game 4-5, despite TJ Phillips scoring all 4. Despite switching the match to their opponents ground our under 12s managed to win their cup game 4-0 and our under 14s also moved into the next round by having a 4-1 home victory, with Tyne Robinson scoring a hat-trick. In the League our under 13s gained a 7-0 away win with Taylor Cornall and Jason Bennett also netting a hat-trick. Our under 18s maintained their high league position by winning 6-3, which means they are now only one point off the top with a game in hand.
Well done to all our teams.
