Another enjoyable season over, completed by our Presentation Night held at Blackpool Football Club when our 8 league teams reflected on the past season and certain players from each squad were chosen to receive particular awards. The club's special awards went to Joe Robinson as the best up and coming junior player and Sam Fielding chosen as our club's overall Player of the Year. Well done to you both and we hope everyone enjoyed the evening.
Congratulations to our Under 13s for winning their Hogan Cup Final at Bloomfield Road on Sunday 3rd May. In a close game they beat Clifton Rangers by 3 goals to 2. Poulton's goals were scored by Alex Gullane, Will Lockhart and Tyler Douthwaite. Poulton's Oliver Kelly won the Man of the Match award (the Fred Bailey Trophy).
This team won the Under 12s Cup last season and were Cup runners up at Under 11s level. In 2005 they won the Cup at Under 9s level. This is some record !!
Also, congratulations to our Under 10s who are League Champions for the second year running and are also winners of the Poulton & District Primary League Plate Competition. For further details please see the Under 10s page.
SATURDAY MORNING CLUB - The season ended with our Competition Day on Saturday 9th of May. Although it was cold and windy the rain very kindly held off until just after we had finished. A trophy was given to every member and trophies were given to the Most Improved Player and also to the Player of the Year in each age group. The coveted John Moss Trophy was awarded to the overall player of the year which this year was Scott Murphy, This is the second time Scott has won this award, the first player in the Club's history to do so. Congratulatiuons, Scott !
OUR TOURING TEAM
Next season the under 13`s of Poulton Youth are the clubs' official tour team. In May 2010 they will be representing our club at the Amsterdam Tournament in Holland and the fundraising campaign has begun.

CLUB MERCHANDISE can now be purchased from MJ Workwear & Supplies, Dock Street, Fleetwood (next to the entrance to Wynsor shoes) who will supply a variety of products such as sweatshirts, hoodies, hats, rain-jackets, winter-jackets, polo shirts etc, in club colours of red,black & white with the club name and badge embroidered on each item.

BLACKPOOL FC GOLD BOND
Poulton Youth F.C. is an agent for the Gold Bond scheme. This involves paying £4.34 a month (£1 a week) by Standing Order to Poulton Youth F.C. The money is then passed on to Blackpool F.C . A weekly draw is made and members can win £2000 and every 3 months a car can be won. (Several years ago one of our members won a car and this earned the Club £500 commission). The Club receives 40% commission of all monies collected and 10% commission on all winnings of £25 or more. Even if you are already a member and pay direct to Blackpool F.C. you may wish to consider paying your subscription through Poulton Youth F.C. (You keep the same numbers). The Club's AGM will be held on Monday 6th July at the River Wyre Hotel commencing at 8.00pm. Parents of our members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
